If I can’t love myself, I can’t love anyone else either
When I started this program, I wanted to have a healthy and stable food pattern and lower my weight. My goal was to be happy with my body and to not to be ashamed when summer would be there. My coach was able to help me work towards these goals by supporting me when I needed motivation, answering my questions about food, health and everything else and she was really personal, what made me believe that there was someone that cared about my health. The biggest tangible change I have noticed since starting the program has been that I feel better about my body, even though I didn’t lose weight. Not losing weight isn’t a big deal when you learn to love your body. I love who I am and I don’t want to change myself. I want to improve my body and my weight, but I like the person who I am anyway. The most significant overall change I have noticed has been the choices I make in food nowadays. I know what’s healthy and what’s not and I’ve really learned to improve my lifestyle. Also, I know how to variate between healthy meals. Even though I’m taking little steps, the progress will show eventually, but the most important lesson of all was to believe that if I can’t love myself, I can’t love anyone else either.
I would describe my coach as an amazing supporter who has always been there for me when I needed her. She gave me presents, even though that wasn’t really necessary, but because of that her support for me felt even more real. I know how important it is to be happy with little things, just like I’ve written in the notebook that my coach gave to me. She is someone that wants to listen and is willing to answer every question that I had, so I’m very thankful. I would recommend my coach to anyone that wants to improve their life-style, wants to lose weight or just wants to become a better version of themselves.
