How much discipline do you have?
Are you the woman with a lot of discipline?
Are you able to be active yourself or do you need somebody to push you to the gym?
Are you able to unwind after a very busy week or do you always stay “on” and aren’t able to relax?
Does discipline come naturally or do you think you’re crappy at it?
There is so much we NEED to do on a normal day. And there is so much more that we think we SHOULD do as well.
These “should-do” things however, oftentimes don’t get done because we just don’t have the discipline to carry them out.
A first option for change could be the way you talk. Communication is very difficult and an art in itself.
The same goes for the way we talk to ourselves. The way we talk inside our heads.
Why not replace the word should for want to?
Change, “I should go to the gym for I want to go to the gym”.
“I should eat better for I want to eat healthier”.
This way it will feel much better and we don’t have the negativity that goes with should.
Notice how it feels for you.
If you try to change your wording and it still doesn’t feel right or if you still struggle, then look at discipline in a different way.
If you’re sure that you’re never going to have discipline to work out, eat healthier, unwind or whatever it is you’re struggling with, then reach out to someone to take over the discipline.
If you want to work out but you don’t have the discipline, find a personal trainer.
If you want to eat healthier but you know you’ll fall into these pitfalls of overeating, find a health coach.
If you want to get better at anything, but you don’t have the discipline, ask for help.
Don’t struggle endlessly, think about what you want to change in your life and then hire someone to take over the discipline from you.
It will make your life much better. It will make your life much easier.
It will make your life much healthier.
Think about this for a while. And then reach out to me 😉
With love and health,
