The bitch in your head
Are you this strong woman who can handle everything? Who is a superwoman at work, under a lot of pressure and people are relying on you to do your work well? And do you also want to make the same effort at home, but somehow you can’t cope as you would like to?
Struggling to get through your day? And fighting the bitch in your head who is telling you, you should be able to pull it all off?
When you get home, you just want to wind down.
You have been on your toes all day and on high heels, and if you could get both off, that would be a blessing 😉
BUT, people at home need your attention. Maybe a spouse, or children, and they need a piece of you too…and you’re just so frikkin’ tired…
We all have a bitch in our head, normally talking very badly to us. You’re not good enough, you should have done this better, you should have been able to do it all… Does it sound familiar?
This bitch also is present when you snap at your family or at work (again…? oh, you hate this woman!), when you’re anxious, and when you feel this wave of sadness come over you. She will tell you that you should be the perfect wife and mom, and it’s just not fair how you’re behaving.
You just don’t understand how you ended up in this situation, why are you feeling like this?
Are you going crazy? Is it the the daily stress that you’re experiencing? Is it the workload?
Are you falling out of love with your spouse, are you fed up with your kids and your life?
You ask yourself so many questions and you just can’t figure it out.
Now think about this for a moment….. HORMONES!
Especially when you’re between 42 and 50 something. You might be younger and have also these kind of symptoms and it might be perimenopause!
Really?
Too often hormonal causes are overlooked and they are a big issue for a lot of women.
So first step to take, is to look at your hormones. Search for an integrative obs and do some testing. It’s that simple to understand your hormonal status. Knowledge is power!
If that’s too big of a fuss, then it’s time to look into lifestyle changes. Which I would recommend to do always, no matter what situation you’re in.
There are so many things you can do yourself to get back on track again. Feeling great and with energy. Loving your body AND your life.
Think about it, we were made to be happy but we fill our plates so heavily that we inevitable go into this state of stress. Why do we do this?
Maybe because we’re not consciously choosing what we want in our lives and what we don’t? Maybe because we let life and all of the other people get into our agenda? Maybe because we don’t have the willpower to say no and we think we have to live up to everybody’s expectations?
I ask you why????
Why don’t you start to make your own decisions. Where you spend your time, whom you want to be with, how hard you will work, how hard you will play of course too 😉
It’s time to take your life into your own hands!
Pause. Let. this. sink. in.
Then take action. Start with talking to me 😉
With love and health,
Monique
